It’s just a poster framing sale!

PosterFramingSale

At least once a week someone walks through the door and starts the conversation with…”it’s just a poster, but”.  We get it and you don’t need to explain.  Posters might not have a substantial monetary value, but their emotional value can be priceless.  A favorite movie or band, the city you grew up in or an artist whose original work may be unattainable.  Growing up it was a Michael Jordan Air poster for Zack, Kendra had tacked an NKOTB poster to her wall and her favorite Mucha poster remains hanging in the house 12 years after framing it.  We still buy posters, especially for our 6-year-old Gunnison’s room.  People bring in posters with several sets of tack holes in the corners for each time they’ve moved, clearly it’s a permanent fixture.  By custom framing a prized poster, you’ll be able to dress up the fact that it’s just a poster and make it art for any room in the house.

So take the tacks out and bring in your favorite poster.  Through the end of February, all poster framing is 20% off.  Prices start as low as $85 for a drymount, laminate and basic custom frame.  Give us a call or stop in for a quote.

Your life, on your walls.

We recently had the pleasure of working with a new client who was updating her home in Cherry Creek.  She had many pieces that took the majority of the afternoon to work through. Each piece had a great story behind it and a lot of time was spent laughing and exchanging stories back and forth.   It was a great collection of art including originals that had hung in her parents’ home, two photos of her finishing the New York City Marathon, and posters she’d collected while studying abroad.

Feel good framing.

We do framing for an assisted living facility near City Park.  One of their social workers contacted us about perking up some residents rooms.  After visiting and finding out about their interests and backgrounds, this was one result.  The woman we framed this for has Sioux ancestry.  We framed this colorful print with Crescent Select mats and did a specialized mat cut with our Wizard 9000.  The red frame is from Larson Juhl.  Their residents spend a good amount of time in their rooms, it’s such a joy to make them more personal.
